politics: important interviews
Here are 3 interviews I think are pretty interesting. I’m posting part 1 of all of them. Click on the video to see links to the rest of the parts.
1) Obama on O’Reilly

I’ve been listening to O’Reilly on SuperTalk in the afternoon and I’m convinced he’s an Obama fan. I thought this interview was vintage Bill (although he did admit to being full of erroneous statistics at one point) AND I thought Obama made some pretty dramatic points in among all the yelling.
2) McCain on the View

There was a whole lot of squirming going on. Although McCain delivered some pretty weak answers, I think Barbara Walters should be embarrassed of her own forcefulness and obvious bias. I did like Cindy’s answer to the house question. Enough is enough.
3) Sarah Palin with Charlie Gibson

I’ll ask it like Jon Stewart did: “Why can’t Charlie Gibson be Vice President?”

I watched all of the Obama and O’Reilly interviews, and I agree with you that it seems like Bill O’Reilly at least LIKES Obama. He still was, however, a name that I won’t write on your orchard blog, but at the same time, I’ll go so far to say it’s the best interview I’ve ever seen O’Reilly give. And I really liked seeing Obama answering things on his feet. It makes you realize the difference between someone who BELIEVES what they’re saying, and someone who is just reciting prewritten answers. Thanks for this.
